About the Program
Graduate reading students serve as tutors in the Bloomsburg University Summer Reading Program. The graduate students earn 6 practicum credits, and the children receive free literacy instruction. The program serves struggling readers in grades 1-6. Children receive tutoring in four areas of literacy instruction: reading fluency, reading comprehension, writing, and decoding.
