Mission: The FAH LLC will offer participants a community of students and faculty who share a common passion for the arts and letters and an atmosphere where students majoring in the fine arts and humanities gain the opportunity, support, and experience needed to flourish in their chosen disciplines. While our first priority will be to emphasize and embrace the fine arts and humanities, we’ll explore as well the role of the fine arts and humanities in an era with an ever broadening emphasis on science, technology, and professional studies. We’ll examine the fields of music, art, writing, philosophy, theatre, and literature as they inform the work of other disciplines. We’ll consider how the fine arts and humanities are embracing technology in the twenty-first century. And we’ll discern the individual career and life possibilities for students of the arts and letters. |
