Faculty Director, Dr. Ekema Agbaw

"Working with students in the Frederick Douglass Living and Learning Community since 2001 has been the most fulfilling professional experience for me.  I enjoy observing students from different racial and ethnic backgrounds work with each other in and out of class to achieve academic success--as Frederick Douglass did with his three friends in Baltimore.  I am proud to say that within the last six years, this program has contributed significantly to improving the retention and four-year graduation rates of Bloomsburg University students. "
